"Survive and Thrive: How to Overcome Adversity and Life the Life You Really Want"
     There are many challenges in life which are unknown.  Some are expected while others are not. It's how we cope with these challenges that helps determine the outcome and our attitude.
      In this presentation, Darcy teaches the audience steps of how to survive and thrive successfully though any challenge. They will leave equipped to handle any adversity that comes in their life.

"The Miracle Child: How to Set Higher Goals and Achieve the Unimaginable in Life"
     Through Darcy’s humorous experiences, she takes the audience to the depths of what it is like to start over as a small child…mentally, physically, and emotionally. By sharing Darcy’s signature story, the audience is inspired to overcome the odds and learn how to achieve the impossible in life.
      The audience learns in this presentation how to handle any challenge that crosses their path through fortitude, perseverance, and determination. They also are taught how to persevere through tough times and are challenged to make and strive for higher goals in order to reach the unimaginable in life.

"Move It: How Leaders Deal with Change"
    In my presentation, I will be sharing my survival story of overcoming life-threatening injuries and how I successfully dealt with the biggest change in my life, while serving as a leader at Ball State University.  Not only did I survive this life-altering change, I learned the secret to thrive through it, and became a successful career woman, professional speaker, author, and leader once again.

      The following key points will be discussed on how folks can successfully address and deal with changes both personally and professionally:
• Change is something that will happen.  It is the “new normal”.  Why are people resistant to change? 
• The audience will learn the secret to embracing change.
• We’ll discuss the two things a person can control when change happens.
• The audience will learn the formula for surviving and thriving through change.

"The Little Decision: How to Make Good Decisions and Reduce Stress in Life"
      Many times, we look back and wonder why we make the decisions we do. Some decisions come with consequences that we regret or wish that we could change. Without realizing it, Darcy Keith made a life and death decision to change seating positions in a car which would ultimately save her life.
      While we can’t predict many of the outcomes of our choices, Darcy reveals tips on how to make good ones. Darcy challenges the audience to take a look at their risk behavior, provides them with a guide on how to make tough decisions, and helps them to understand the relationship of these choices to their happiness in life.

       This presentation is designed for teens and college students.   In this presentation, Darcy shares with the audience how to look past the current moment and realize the the decisions made while not only behind the wheel, but also in life, can be the difference a life and death situation. 

"From Your House to the Statehouse: How to Provide Effective Testimony When You Have a Disability"
     From the 2004 through the 2007 Indiana legislative sessions, Darcy was repeatedly called upon to testify before committee hearings for the new law, passed in 2007, which would make seatbelts mandatory for all seating positions of any vehicle a primary law. In this presentation, Darcy shares the inside tips she learned to effectively communicate her injury testimony and persuade lawmakers to adopt her point of view.  This presentation is ideal for any disability organization on effective communication in legislative hearings.
